About Us
Our HRSA Grant
The Rutgers Schools of Health Professions, Nursing, and Social Work is building New Jersey’s capacity to address opioid use/substance use disorders treatment for the vulnerable and under-served communities within Atlantic, Camden, Essex, and Mercer counties by providing enhanced training of diverse health professionals students through inter-professional education (IPE) that will foster collaborative, culturally competent, clinical practice.
Department
The Department of Psychiatric Rehabilitation and Counseling Professions at Rutgers School of Health Professions is a leader in psychiatric rehabilitation education, having pioneered some of the first degree-granting psych rehab programs in the nation.

Community Partners
The following community partners will be a part of the Virtual Communities of Practice (VCoP) implemented in this project. These sites will not host students; however, they will add their expertise in OUD/SUD, mental health, and integrated care. The community partners are also important in sustainability of the project and student recruitment post-graduation.
